Dear Reader

Dear Reader,
I, Akasha Chanel Evelyn am a social, outgoing, loud, and optimistic person. School wasn't hard for me at all, and making honor roll every year came with ease. My work was always turned in on time and never fell behind. I cherish my friends and their friendship, graduating with many of them excites me because we when through this 4 year journey of high school together. Hopefully as the years go by, we don't grow apart as we go our separate ways and continue to be friend in the future. My love of art makes it my metaphor. I always managed to draw on every sheet of paper that was in my presence. Art is gift and a talent because you don't have to be the best artist to have your work appreciated. Anyone can achieve success from a simple little logo that you have drawn. As you go through each page you will understand my metaphor poem goes along with every grade year. When you began a piece of art you have a blank canvas trying to figure out what you are about to draw. That's how I felt during my freshman year, how am I about to spend these next four years. Sophomore year I began the sketch, followed by junior year adding color and ending senior year with the raming of my art. Each grade level has either a literary analysis or a wild card. It will show you how my writing developed from a freshman year to the writer I am today. Honestly working on the project way a joy, I kept my pace and didn't procrastinate on it. The only struggle was creating my metaphor poem other than that this project was manageable. This project also showed me how my life was before senior year and how much I have changed as a person. Sincerely, Akasha C. Evelyn |
